Assistant MEP Manager
Description
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), supporting the pre-construction phase from design through procurement while collaborating with a wide range of internals and externals stakeholders. If you are interested in being involved in a project from its concept stage through to delivery, we would love to hear from you!Your main duties:Design & CoordinationSupport coordination with architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders in the design and development of MEP systemsAssist in reviewing MEP design drawings, layouts, and specifications for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systemsTender & Procurement SupportAssist in preparing material take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for MEP systems.Support the preparation of scope of works and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for suppliers and subcontractors.Testing & CommissioningSupport testing and commissioning activities to verify that MEP systems operate as designed and meet performance and energy-efficiency requirements.Assist in preparing commissioning documentation and reports as required.Compliance, Health & SafetyEnsure that all MEP systems are designed and installed in compliance with applicable building codes, statutory regulations, safety standards, and project-specific requirements.Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures related to MEP works.ProfileYou are either beginning your professional journey or ideally, have a few years of experience, with a strong willingness to learn and grow. Your assetsGood communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Reliable and trustworthyAppetite for learning and gaining experienceA degree or equivalent qualification in construction management or a related field (preferred).You do not tick all the boxes but you are ready to take up the challenge?
